How does the buying/pickup process work?
You can now buy our kits and select accessories online. You can either pick them up at our store and complete the winemaking process at home or you can pay the winery fee and we will work with you at our in-store winery to complete the process.
Bottles – We will sterilize your bottle before putting your wonderful wine in. You are welcome to bring your own from home. We just ask that commercial labels are removed and the bottles are visibly clean. We also sell clear and green bottles if you require any. Each bottle costs $1.30.
What are the Winery Fee and Liquor Tax?
$56.66 Winery Fee – This fee includes all wine work done by WK staff, corks, filtering and sterilization of bottles. It also removes the lifting and physical labor as we will do that for you. Set your wine, and return on bottling day and have fun using our state-of-the-art bottling equipment. Wine Kitz makes wine easy!
$17.75 Liquor Tax – This price is chosen by the PEI Liquor Control Commission.
The winery fee and liquor tax are autoatically applied to all Made for You kits. They are not applied to Take Home kits.
Made for You Kits
Some of our customers prefer to have their kits created by experts where they can be monitored in a specialized environment—and we’re happy to help. Once you complete your purchase, we will confirm directly with you and choose a time to begin the process. All Made for You Kits are subject to the Winery Fee and Liquor Tax.
